California Wild Pig Hunts
Avila Guided Hunts offers fully guided hunts located on the Central Coast of California. The ranch is directly between Paso Robles and King City. Our guided hunts are uniquely different. As a client you will be able to experience and gain access to a fully ran family operation. Our hunts are conducted on our family's fourth generation cattle ranch. Wildlife management, extensive dry-land farming, vineyard land and cattle grazing are all composed on the ranch.
A typical hunt is two days long. However, with the abundance of pigs located on the property and our guides experience and knowledge, a large portion of our hunts wrap up on the first day. Our success rate is 99%. Hunters can expect to see an average of 25-45 pigs, more depending on the time of year. An average pig weighs 160 pounds.
Wounded Pig Policy:
If a pig is hit and not able to be found by the guide or his dogs, you will be held accountable. You will have to claim the wounded animal as your harvest and the tag will be used.
